Terms of Use

1. Acceptance

By using XERAuditor, including the DCMA-14 XER Schedule Auditor, the Schedule Reader, and the Community section, you agree to these Terms of Use.

2. Intended use

The tools are provided for schedule-quality review, schedule reading, learning, and analysis support. You remain responsible for interpreting the results and deciding how they should be used.

3. No certification and no scheduling advice

The results do not certify that a schedule complies with DCMA requirements, a contract, a client specification, or another governing standard. Verify results against your approved baseline and applicable project requirements.

The Schedule Reader displays dates, float, relationships, and baselines as they appear in the XER file. It does not reschedule or recalculate the schedule, and it is not a substitute for Primavera P6. Baseline matching and exported PDF or Excel files should be checked against the source schedule before being relied on or shared.

4. Data responsibility

You are responsible for having permission to use every XER file opened in the auditor or the Schedule Reader, and for protecting confidential, proprietary, personal, and commercially sensitive information.

5. Community accounts

Creating a Community account requires a valid email address. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. You must meet the minimum age required by your local law to create an account (generally 13 or older, or 16 in some jurisdictions).

6. Community conduct

When posting or commenting, you agree not to:

• Post confidential, proprietary, or personal information belonging to you, your employer, a client, or any third party, including XER file contents or project schedule data;
• Post content that is unlawful, defamatory, harassing, hateful, obscene, or infringes another party's intellectual property or privacy rights;
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation with any company or project;
• Post spam, advertising, or malicious links, code, or files;
• Attempt to interfere with, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to the Community section or its underlying systems.

7. Your content

You retain ownership of the posts and comments you submit. By posting, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, and distribute that content as part of operating the Community section, for as long as the content remains posted. You are solely responsible for the content you submit.

8. Moderation and removal

We may remove any post, comment, or account, and may suspend or terminate community access, at our discretion, including for suspected violation of Section 6, without prior notice. You may delete your own posts and comments at any time.

9. Availability

The service, including the Community section, may be changed, interrupted, suspended, or discontinued without notice and is not guaranteed to be error-free.

10. Limitations

Some checks may use approximations where the required baseline information is not directly available in the XER export. Always review the detailed findings before relying on a result. Schedule Reader exports reflect the on-screen layout at the time of export and depend on third-party libraries loaded in your browser; availability of those libraries is not guaranteed.

These terms may be updated as the service evolves.
